About INTERNET ORDERS

Hi and welcome to my page!  Just a little about myself - I moved to the Montpelier area about two years ago from Princeton, New Jersey and just love it here. My dog, Finnegan, and I love to explore all that Vermont has to offer.  I have enjoyed learning many crafts since childhood, but started knitting just five years ago. A dear friend asked me to join a knitting class with her and then later encouraged me to purchase this shop and I have absolutely no regrets!  I purchased The Knitting Studio on August 17, 2005 and what a joy it's been!  I have met so many wonderful people - both local and from all over the United States.

Wow!  Have I been busy!  I have so enjoyed helping everyone with their winter projects!  In the meantime, I took the Manos Quilt Class with Brigette and finished my quilt!  I really enjoyed all the different patterns I made for the different squares.  I also made a pair of Thrummed Mittens (see the winter 2008 class list for a picture of these!)  and a few "Pidges" out of the super soft Cascade Cash Vero.  I am currently working on a light weight  sweater out of the Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool doubled in a great creamy tan color.  Actually, I'm working on three other projects as the same time.... but who's counting!

Enjoy this knitting season!
